EXFO (NASDAQ:EXFO) has introduced the MAX-720C QUAD as part of its newly launched C-Series OTDR/iOLM, which is intended for test and measurement in data center and enterprise networks. Designed for single-mode and multimode fiber networks, the new OTDR/iOLM features Go/No-go results and automated fault-finding capabilities.
Intended for for contractors, the OTDR is designed for multiple network [http://www.broadbandtechreport.com/in-the-network.html] testing, including LAN/WAN, access and FTTH/PON characterization. It also integrates a power meter and VFL with on-board reporting. The tablet-style OTDR/iOLM is hosted in the company's MaxTester platform.
