NexPlayer, Edgeware take on streaming video latency
At INTX in Chicago, Edgeware is showing a range of IP video services built on its Video Consolidation Platform (VCP). The solution is intended to provide a single, consolidated platform for the transition to IP video services by enabling operators to deliver to traditional set-top boxes and IP multiscreen devices without having to manage duplicate, siloed delivery networks.
Edgeware is showing several solutions built on the VCP, including cloud DVR, 4K/UltraHD, OTT distribution of live sports, service analytics, and support for IP migration.
