Genius Digital will be making its debut at this year's NAB Show with its Insight Platform viewing data solution. It's designed to tell video providers which services are watched, which are not, how the audience is interacting with content, and the value of the content to subscribers.
The goal is to provide operators with data on which to calculate the value of channels for use when negotiating carriage fees, and also to build new offerings, such as targeted advertising. The Insight Platform is designed to measure audience activity from almost any platform and device, across linear, on-demand or hybrid services, in real time.
