Cox Communications has launched nearly 250
WiFi hotspots in San Diego. The hotspots are in Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Hillcrest, North Park, Chula Vista, National City and Imperial Beach, as well as all six Cox Solutions Stores countywide. Subscribers to the MSO's Preferred, Premier, Ultimate and GIGABLAST
Internet services have free access to the WiFi hotspots as an additional value to their service.
In addition to San Diego, Cox WiFi has launched in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Connecticut, Northern Virginia and Sun Valley, ID. Cox customers also have access to Cable WiFi, a nationwide multi-MSO network of more than 300,000 hotspots.
