Starting in December, Bright House Networks plans to increase speeds on several of its high-speed Internet packages, offering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps for new and existing customers. Standard Internet will move from 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps; Lightning from 30 Mbps to 35 Mbps; Lightning 60 Mbps will move to 75 Mbps; and Lightning 90 Mbps will move to 150 Mbps. The speed increases come at no additional charge to existing customers who already subscribe to the packages.

Bright House already provides speeds of up to 1 Gbps in limited areas in Florida. Additionally, in early 2015, Bright House plans to offer residential speeds of up to 300 Mbps throughout its service area in Florida.
