Summit Broadband is deploying gigabit service in Pelican Bay, FL, based on ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) FTTH technology. Services include Internet speeds of up to 100, 200 or 500 Mbps, as well as gigabit capabilities.

The 45-acre resort community has 6,500 residents - many of them seasonal - as well as two hotels. Spectrum Engineering is the systems integrator.
