    Grande Grows TX Gigabit with DOCSIS 3.1
    Texas-based cable operator Grande Communications has deployed Calix' (NYSE:CALX) E7-2 Ethernet Service Access Platform (ESAP), 700GE family of ONTs, and Compass Open Link Cable software for its 1 Gbps "Power 1000" services in West Austin, TX.

    The Open Link Cable solution is based on the CableLabs DOCSIS Provisioning of EPON (DPoE) specification and is designed to align with future DOCSIS Provisioning of GPON (DPoG) standards that are currently in development.
