Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) has released a new version of its multiscreen origin server software to support UltraHD video content and HEVC.
Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) has released a new version of its multiscreen origin server software to support UltraHD video content and HEVC. Support for 4K and 8K Ultra HD content and HEVC is included in software version 2.1 and later of Concurrent's origin server. Version 2.1 is currently shipping.

The company's modular software solution is designed for commercial video applications such as VOD, live broadcast, and network-based DVR. It also features dynamic content adaptation (DCA) to enable video content to be modified on-the-fly as it being streamed.
