ARRIS Updates CMTS Software

ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) has announced in-service availability of Release 8.1 software for its C4 and C4c CMTS products. Release 8.1, in conjunction with the installation of System Control Module 3 (SCM), is designed for improved performance for control plane-related tasks including IP detail record (IPDR), SNMP and command line interface (CLI); increased IPv6 route scaling; additional DSG feature support; and improved support for lawful intercept (LI) applications in Europe.
