Ericsson to Focus on Multiscreen at Expo

At Expo, Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) will demonstrate its SVP 5000 HEVC/H.265 encoder for the delivery of live and linear TV over mobile networks, to mobile devices. It's designed for real-time encoding at resolutions up to HD for TV Everywhere services.Also on show will be the SPR1200 multiscreen stream processor and NPR1200 multiscreen network processor for processing hundreds of channels into thousands of adaptive streaming profiles. The SPR1200 is a hardware-based multiscreen transcoder, and the Ericsson NPR1200 offers packaging and publishing linear multiscreen content.
