At IBC in Amsterdam, ruwido is launching its myron tangible interaction concept with "smart dial" function. It's designed to integrate up to 27 commands in a remote control without the need for a classic button layout.

The design of myron has been ergonomically adapted to the natural shape of the palm. Pressure gradient perception at three different levels allows the user to scroll through content. If the central navigational mechanism is pushed hard, the user quickly moves through lists and menu items. When the navigation mechanism is pushed with less pressure, movement is slower.

A swipe of a finger on the touch sensitive interface, either to scroll backwards or forwards, controls channel selection, volume, and fast-forward or rewind.
