Technetix: XFO | 10G Faceplate-only multitap

Oct. 4, 2023
Technetix's XFO series is a 1.8 GHz upgrade faceplate for legacy-style multitaps such as Motorola, Regal, or Scientific Atlanta.
The XFO series is a 1.8 GHz upgrade faceplate for legacy-style multitaps such as Motorola, Regal, or Scientific Atlanta. The existing need to cut hardline cables and install new housings greatly impacts the network, demanding temporary RF and power shutdown on the coaxial line. In addition to this, there is a need for skilled workers to execute operations properly. The XFO series tackles this issue by upgrading only the faceplate to create a 1.8 GHz multitap, reducing the need for highly skilled labor and ensuring that operator services remain unaffected during a mass deployment.

Judge’s Comment: “Beneficial for any HFC network operator performing an upgrade to 1.8 GHz.”
