At the NAB Show 2016 in Las Vegas, Verimatrix has formally launched its Verspective Operator Analytics solution, a suite of subscriber intelligence tools designed to emphasize data security and integrity as a foundation for actionable intelligence.
Verspective Operator Analytics is intended to enable multi-source instrumentation, transformation, organization, analysis and distribution of census-based video service data to provide a combination of real-time and historical perspectives of service and subscriber usage. The Operator Analytics solution also offers the option to integrate with the company's cloud-based Verspective Intelligence Center.
Key to the Verspective Operator Analytics suite is secure data aggregation from a variety of instrumentation points. It involves data collection from set-top boxes and CE devices as well as headend subsystems data sources, including VOD platforms, operator CDNs and metadata systems. The data sets enable correlation of multiple operational viewpoints, creating an analytics platform for multi-network and multiscreen service providers.
While reporting on collected data, Verspective Operator Analytics is also designed to enable data export to pre-integrated third-party analytics partners, as well as the operator's own business intelligence tools. Operators can deploy and use pre-integrated third-party services to minimize subscriber churn, optimize advertising revenue and enhance discovery with recommendation and personalization algorithms. Third-party visualization tools currently supported include Genius Digital and Think Analytics, with plans to add more.
