At IBC 2016 in Amsterdam in September, ContentWise will officially debut the latest version of its Content Personalization Software, which is intended to provide broadcast, cable, satellite, IPTV OTT and video streaming operators with total control over video curation and automation. Upgrades to the personalization software are designed to enable client user interface (UI) control from a centralized system, as well as targeted content promotions.

"We are really enabling pay TV and OTT operators to deliver a totally personalized experience, cutting down the time-to-market of their offerings and service innovations, while minimizing changes to their client applications: this is really our most significant step yet," said Pancrazio Auteri, CTO of ContentWise. "We're really looking forward to debuting the next-generation ContentWise platform at the show, and to discuss how operators can be in total control of their personalized TV offerings."

Booth demonstrations will include:

  • Real time onboarding of new users with personalized discovery options
  • Control of the UI elements and composition at the device, screen, carousel and slot level
  • Personalized discovery across browsing and search
  • Curation tools, business rules and A/B testing for marketers and content programmers
  • Analytics including KPI tracking: user activity, financials, engagement and recommendation effectiveness metrics
