Entone Bakes TiVo into IP Video Boxes

Entone and TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) announced an integrated solution for IPTV operators that combines Entone's hybrid IPTV devices with the TiVo user experience. The partnership is intended to give service providers greater deployment flexibility and provide for integration with TiVo's cloud services, including universal search and recommendations, networked DVR service, as well as key elements of the TiVo user experience on Entone IPTV platforms.The combined solution is initially targeted for IPTV operators who want to offer the TiVo user experience to their subscribers with maximum deployment flexibility. Both companies will be demonstrating their solutions, including the TiVo networked DVR service running on an Entone hybrid TV device, at the IBC show in Amsterdam.
