SeaChange Shines a Light on ITV

SeaChange International (NASDAQ:SEAC) has purchased all assets and intellectual property, including source code, from Flashlight Engineering and Consulting of Portland, OR. Flashlight specializes in designing and writing software for digital TVs and set-top boxes. According to SeaChange, every major U.S. cable op uses Flashlight software.As part of the agreement, SeaChange will create a business unit in Portland for its 20 employees, and, effective immediately, Flashlight President and CEO Eric Miller becomes VP of engineering at SeaChange.
