Cablevision Launches Laptop App, HBO GO

Cablevision announced the launch of Optimum App for Laptop, the latest version of its Optimum App. Like previous versions of the Optimum App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices, Optimum App for Laptop allows Cablevision's iO TV digital cable customers to watch all the channels they subscribe to, live, on any Mac or PC laptop computer in the home.Optimum App for Laptop features a new user interface and searchable guide. The app also includes the ability to manage DVR content, tune conventional TV sets in the home, and support for parental controls and closed captioning.The New York operator also announced the launch of HBO GO and MAX GO TV Everywhere services, expanding to 12 the number of mobile programming services available to iO TV digital cable customers.
