Windstream Enterprise incorporates ATSG's platforms into its managed services line

July 20, 2023
The new alliance focuses on delivering managed services for enterprise infrastructure management and cybersecurity.

Windstream Enterprise has introduced a new portfolio of IT-managed services that leverage ATSG’s platforms, giving enterprise customers an extensive range of turnkey virtual workspace and cybersecurity services.

This new initiative aims to ease the challenge of meeting demands for technical talent. A Gartner report revealed that 86% of CIOs reported facing more competition for qualified candidates, and 73% were worried about IT talent attrition. As a result, businesses face barriers to digital transformation that slow their growth and development and impact their bottom line.

By offering managed services, Windstream Enterprise claims it can help remove these obstacles and relieve overtaxed IT staff from the burden of maintaining IT environments themselves. An enterprise can leverage these services to free up its time and resources to focus on driving better business outcomes and customer experiences. The technology solutions included in the portfolio provide businesses and their IT teams with the hands-on support they need to optimize and protect their network, data, and assets across modern hybrid and remote work environments.

This partnership with ATSG enables Windstream Enterprise clients to leverage three distinct service elements:

·      Digital Workplace managed services: These services enable enterprises to rapidly and securely implement or upgrade their infrastructure and platforms.

·       Digital Infrastructure managed services: Enterprises can provide holistic computing environments and facilitate a superior experience and flexible working practices.

·       Cybersecurity managed services: Enterprises can assess their security environment and remove risks.

Windstream Enterprise, which has been gaining traction with larger enterprises, can position ATSG’s IT-managed services to manage a customer’s digital infrastructure while also tailoring it to an enterprise’s industry—whether that be healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, education, and state and local government.

For example, a healthcare organization could leverage Windstream Enterprises managed services to thwart cyber-attacks with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). The company also provides a gap assessment from its Professional Services healthcare consulting team to ensure HIPAA and PCI compliance.

“Organizations across a myriad of industries are struggling to implement transformational technologies with the specialization required to thrive in a cloud-centric business landscape,” said Mike Fiacco, chief revenue officer for Windstream Enterprise. “Windstream Enterprise solves this challenge with a variable-cost approach (versus a fixed-cost approach) that incorporates all the right technology, implementation expertise and service.”
