Oct. 11, 2001--Burleigh Instruments, located in Harpenden, UK, has announced that, effective October 24, 2001, it will be changing its trading name to Scientifica Ltd.

Burleigh Instruments, located in Harpenden, UK, has announced that, effective October 24, 2001, it will be changing its trading name to Scientifica Ltd. The move is as a result of the increased portfolio of products that the company is now able to offer to UK customers for photonics and life science research applications.

Complimenting its range of competitively priced life science manipulators, Scientifica has exclusive UK distribution agreements with Multi-Channel Systems (neuroscience and nuclear physics research), ALA Scientific Instruments Inc. (pharmacological testing) and npi electronics (electrophysiology research).
