April 25, 2001
Apr. 25, 2001--Zolo Technologies, Inc., an optical networking sub-systems developer and manufacturer, announced it has established a manufacturing facility in Singapore to meet the growing demand for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) devices.

Zolo Technologies, Inc., an optical networking sub-systems developer and manufacturer, announced it has established a manufacturing facility in Singapore to meet the growing demand for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) devices. Zolo produces its Zmux line of multiplexer/demultiplexer products using proprietary DWDM free-space optics and grating technology, increasing broadband capacity and lowering cost per channel for telecommunications providers.

Zolo's vice president of Asian manufacturing, Simon Choo, manages the 12,000-square-foot facility. The new facility significantly boosts Zolo's production capacity, enabling it to meet the ongoing demand for its Zmux product line.

Zolo's Zmux family of products will help meet that demand with its high-volume manufacturing facilities in the United States and Asia. Zolo's products uniquely combine high-performance, scalability, reliability, a smaller footprint and cost efficiency with a design that facilitates high-yield production.
