Spurred by record-setting revenue, subscriber base and fiber-optic telecommunications network growth in 2000, Florida Digital Network (FDN) plans to increase its total sales force this year by 30 percent throughout the state.

To better accommodate the larger regional sales teams, FDN has recently expanded its offices in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Orlando and Tampa. FDN's coverage area includes Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, the Space Coast (Cocoa, Melbourne, Titusville and Merritt Island), Tampa and West Palm Beach.

In the midst of a general telecommunications industry downturn, FDN tripled its statewide coverage area in 2000. Propelled by a corresponding increase of more than 10,000 new customers and 30,000 additional service lines, the statewide, full-service telecommunications company's year-end revenues rose more than 600 percent over 1999.

About Florida Digital Network:

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, FDN is a "facilities-based" Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), having made the investment to build its own telecommunications equipment and fiber-optic network. For more information, visit www.floridadigital.net.
