Inphi changes CTOs

Dr. Gopal Raghavan, co-founder and CTO, of Inphi Corp. (NYSE: IPHI) has resigned. The provider of high-speed analog semiconductor devices has promoted Lawrence Tse to replace him.

Dr. Gopal Raghavan, co-founder and CTO, of Inphi Corp. (NYSE: IPHI) has resigned. The provider of high-speed analog semiconductor devices has promoted Lawrence Tse to replace him. Inphi also took the opportunity to name Chris Haywood vice president and chief architect of the Computing and Storage Business Line.

Lawrence Tse joined Inphi in June 2010 as the vice president of engineering for new business initiatives. He will now be responsible for the company's strategic technology direction and planning. Tse has more than 25 years of semiconductor design and executive management experience at leading analog companies such as Marvell and Voltera.

"Lawrence has played a key leadership role since joining Inphi. With Lawrence's technical background and broad and proven experience, I am confident that he will continue to move the Company's technology expertise forward," said Young Sohn, president and CEO of Inphi. "Gopal contributed immensely to the company over the past 10 years. He has been a strategic contributor to the business in several key technology areas, which has positioned Inphi well for continued growth. We thank him for his contributions and we all wish him the best."
