Optical Zonu forms Optical Zonu Europe to bring direct sales, marketing, and technical support to the Europe Region

FEBRUARY 22, 2010 -- Optical Zonu Corp., a supplier of Gigabit Ethernet and SONET/SDH single fiber, full duplex, CWDM (SFC) transceivers, passives, and testers, has formed Optical Zonu Europe to bring sales, marketing and support to customers in the Europe Region.

OZC offers a line of SFC transceivers which are SFP-pluggable devices that enable an increase in the amount of data traffic that can be carried on a single optical fiber. The devices are available to work over a wide range of data rates, including fast and Gigabit Ethernet, fiber channel, and SONET/SDH. SFC Transceivers conform to the SFP Multi Source Agreement (MSA), making it easy for System Operators to replace legacy dual-fiber SFP transceivers with OZC products. These SFC Transceivers work in conjunction with OZC’s Optical Multiplexer-Demultiplexers to support up to 10 business-class SONET/SDH or Gigabit Ethernet customers on a single fiber with full duplex operation over 75 Km.
