TCSI Corporation (Nasdaq:TCSI), a provider of network solutions for the telecommunications industry, announced that it delivered its Catalant Network Management System-a scalable, plug-and-play application designed to deliver element and network management solutions for next-generation networks-to Global Access Limited (GAL).
GAL is a joint venture of Vectant, Inc. and Asia Global Crossing Limited, the owner and operator of the world's first independent "City to City Service," which seamlessly connects cities in the United States, European Union and Asia, and major cities in Japan via submarine cables such as PC-1, FLAG AC-1, and EAC. Furthermore, GAL provides City Ring Networks in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. TCSI's Catalant will serve as the monitoring system to manage GAL's Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) network.
