Pipeline Technologies signs agreement with Genuity

Pipeline Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: PLTN) announced the signing of a long-term contract with Genuity, Inc. (Nasdaq: GENU). Genuity, formerly GTE Internetworking, offers a full spectrum of services integrated with their tier-one infrastructure. Their VoIP network, built on OC-192 backbone, will host Pipeline-owned gateways and carries guarantees for latency, jitter and packet loss with a coast-to-coast latency averaging <40ms. The network includes 500+ scalable and fully redundant Cisco AS5300 VoIP Gateways in 8 Super PoPs and covers 80 percent of the U.S. metro population. Genuity also offers VoIP transport and termination to over 400 locations worldwide.

Pipeline anticipates that this relationship will result in the achievement of a substantial increase in their anticipated revenue for the year 2001 and beyond.
