According to Dell'Oro Group, the Ethernet Switch market (including Layers 2, 3, and 4-7 SLB) gave back the big gain seen in the last quarter of 2000. Revenues declined 14 percent Q/Q to $3.3 billion. Gigabit Ethernet remained relatively healthy with a Q/Q decline of 6 percent.
