SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 — CTC Marine Projects Ltd., a DeepOcean ASA subsidiary, launched a separate telecommunications business group focused on submarine telecom market opportunities. The group is led by Paul Woodward, formerly with Alcatel-Lucent.
CTC plans to manage the telecom unit from its London office. A major submarine telecom company will join CTC in the endeavor. Further personnel appointments and division plans will follow, CTC reports.
