Connexion Technologies tapped for three real estate development networks
APRIL 3, 2007 -- Connexion Technologies (search for Connexion Technologies) today announced that it will build fiber-optic networks for three new properties: Highlands at Walnut Creek, a mountain community in Western NC (Highlands Mountain Properties); The Park Condos, an upscale mid-rise residential project in Charlotte, NC (Verna and Associates); and The Point Orlando Resort, a Mediterranean-style high rise in Orlando, FL (Seymour International).
As a fiber-optic amenity company, Connexion says it has exploded in the past year, signing additional contracts with national developers at a steady rate.
"We take care of our customers. We're there every step of the way," contends Glen Lang, CEO of Connexion Technologies. "We design, install, operate, and then maintain the fiber-optic networks using our own capital, not the developers'. It's a win-win situation for everybody."
"But much of our growth should be credited to the actual technology," he adds. "It's almost too good to be true."
Fiber-optic technology allows the convergence of entertainment and communications services to be delivered at the speed of light. In addition, fiber's unlimited bandwidth can accommodate emerging technologies as they come to market.
"The secret is out," Lang asserts. "Fiber optics is the most efficient and effective way to deliver technology. Buyers are starting to demand it. Every new property that we connect with fiber brings us one step closer to fulfilling that demand."
