    colt Telecom Group plc (London, UK) will acquire 170 route-km of fiber-optic infrastructure, as well as associated switching and transmission equipment, from Telecom Noord West NV, a unit of Energie Noord West NV (Amsterdam). The fiber serves Amsterdam`s business districts. colt will pay 41 million pounds sterling for the assets. colt also will supply Energie Noord West with commercial telecommunications services.
