On September 30, optical cabling solutions manufacturer TiniFiber announced that it has appointed Network Products Inc. (NPI) and The Ascend Group to accelerate the adoption of its Micro Armor Fiber solution in AI and hyperscale data centers.
NPI, located in Maryland, will extend TiniFiber’s reach across the Mid-Atlantic, while Dallas-based Ascend will extend the company’s reach through the Southern United States.
Kevin O’Leary, TiniFiber’s Southeast regional sales manager, said both regions are key markets for the company.
“The Mid-Atlantic and Southern States are home not just to the data center hotspots of Loudoun County and Dallas, but also to some of the world’s biggest industrial manufacturers and transport hubs,” said O’Leary in a press release. “We look forward to working closely with both NPI’s and Ascend’s teams of experts to extend the benefits of Micro Armor Fiber to such organizations in this market.”
In addition to regional reach, TiniFiber expects the appointments to extend its solutions further into strategic markets like government infrastructure, healthcare, security, and transport.
TiniFiber reports that its Micro Armor Fiber, first introduced in 2017, is flexible, crush-proof, easy to install, and is 65% smaller and 75% lighter than traditional Aluminum Interlock Armor (AIA).
