With 800G and 1.6T expected to become the standard for large-scale training in the future, Spirent’s B2 800G 8-port appliances were developed to meet the stringent testing needs of the networking community.

With 800G and 1.6T expected to become the standard for large-scale transport, Spirent’s B2 800G 8-port appliances were developed to meet the stringent testing needs of the networking community. The system delivers high port counts and supports OSFP and QSFP-DD MSAs. B2 8-Port Appliances support 1x800G in addition to 2x400G, 4x200G, and 8x100G in 112Gbps PAM4 modes in line with IEEE 80.23ck and Ethernet Technology Consortium (ETC) 800GBASE-R and 2x200G and 8x50G in 56Gbps PAM4 mode per IEEE 802.3cd over Direct Attach Copper (DAC), Active Electrical Cable (AEC) or optical transceivers.

Judge’s Comment: “As 800G connections are becoming prevalent in the network's core, Spirent Communications addresses this need with its B2 800G 8-Port Appliance.”
