Photop, Primanex team up

May 17, 2005 Fuzhou, China -- Photop Technologies, a developer of integrated laser, photonics, and fiber-optic products, today announced that it has teamed up with Primanex, a provider of components and modules for the optical communications industry. Photop says the move will allow it to leverage its volume production platform for magnetic-optical products.

According to Photop, as Primanex designs and manufactures a series of magnetic-optical switches, switch modules, EVOAs, and other magnetic-optical products, the collaboration will enhance Photop's OEM product offering while extending Primanex's manufacturing capabilities. Under the agreement, Photop will also support Primanex's international marketing efforts and dedicated production lines.
