30 May 2002 -- Accelink Technologies Co. Ltd., based in Wuhan, China, is seeking European distributors.

A spin-off company from the 25-year-old Passive Device division of the Wuhan Research Institute Accelink (www.accelink.com) develops, manufactures, and markets high-performance fibre optic components, integrated optical sub-systems, and test and measurement equipment for optical fibre communication for both long-haul and metropolitan area networks. Products include EDFs, optical modules, couplers. optical attenuators, WDM/DWDM components and instrumentation.

Accelink, with 600 employees and revenues last year of USD28m, currently has distributors in North America but none in Europe. The company is based in Wuhan, an optical manufacturing centre, where several other Chinese companies produce optical components and equipment.
