45-dB otdr

The Horizon 45 otdr is claimed to be the first to achieve a 45-dB dynamic range. The device is intended primarily for service providers with long fiber runs, such as long-distance carriers and undersea cable operators. The module allows testing for end-of-fiber at 200 to 300 km and significantly shortens testing time.
