Siecor (Hickory, NC) was awarded a four-year contract to provide fiber-optic cable, cable assemblies, and fiber-optic and copper access network products to Bell Canada (Montreal) and certain associated subsidiaries. The outside-plant products include Siecor`s standard loose-tube cables but will soon include the ALTOS cables, which feature standard 3-mm flexible buffer tubes, waterblocking, and optional reverse oscillation lay markings on the outer sheath. Bell Canada`s requirements will be primarily serviced from Siecor`s Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, manufacturing facility.
