StratEdge to design, produce and assemble packages for Triquint

Mar. 29, 2001--StratEdge announced it has contracted to assemble and test TriQuint OC-192 broadband amplifiers using patented, high-performance StratEdge packages.

StratEdge announced it has contracted to assemble and test TriQuint OC-192 broadband amplifiers using patented, high-performance StratEdge packages. TriQuint Semiconductor Texas, Dallas offers microwave and millimeter wave MMICs and discrete devices covering frequencies from DC to 45 GHz.

StratEdge has adapted its standard 580286 leaded ceramic power amplifier package for TriQuint's application. This package has been optimized for Ku-Band, supporting electrical performance, and specified for DC through 23 GHz applications. The entire assembly process, including eutectic and epoxy component attach, gold wire bonding, lid seal, lead trim, electrical test, labeling, and preparation for customer delivery, is being performed at StratEdge.
