Fabricated of InGaAlP, the U-series LEDs are 10 times brighter than the standard commodity-type LED and consume 4 mW (2 mA) at 260 millicandelas (mcds). Brightness typically ranges from 1800 to 2600 mcds at 590 to 636 nm. Available colors are soft red, orange and yellow. Price ranges from $0.20 to $0.30 in 5000-piece lots.
