Network access system

The StarDAX is a scalable network access system that allows users to select from a range of application modules. Available in 4- and 11-slot models, the system provides digital crossconnect and grooming capabilities, handles access speeds from sub-rate to DS-3, has a 2-Gbit ATM bus, and combines the features of HDSL and SDSL technology. An embedded SNMP agent provides access to all features and functions when needed. The system also has an event-driven crossconnect mapping for activating predefined circuit maps based on user-defined events. Redundant system manager modules are available as an option.
