C Spire’s fiber internet is coming to Magee, Mississippi
C Spire is debuting its fiber broadband service in Magee, Mississippi, connecting 1,090 residents with its multi-gig home internet. Construction is underway in two areas of Magee, and the service provider anticipates completing the construction of the additional regions within the next five months. C Spire first launched fiber service to cities across Mississippi in 2014 and has built a network spanning more than 150 communities in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.

Fidium delivers multi-gig speeds to Kingman, Maine
Fidium has expanded its multi-gig, symmetrical-speed internet service to Kingman, Maine, bringing its fiber network to more than 325 homes and businesses.

Expanding its all-fiber network, which began in December, brings all the benefits of access to a fiber broadband connection to Kingman.

GoNetspeed expands Connecticut network to Ansonia
GoNetspeed has made Ansonia the next Connecticut city to gain its fiber internet service. Through its privately funded $4.3 million investment in Ansonia, more than 6,700 homes and businesses will unlock high-speed fiber-optic service. GoNetspeed expects construction to begin early this summer, with the first residents and enterprises anticipated to be connected to fiber internet by the fall of 2025.

Metronet to deliver fiber Internet to Michigan’s West Bloomfield Township
Metronet is bringing its fiber network to West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Backed by a privately funded, multimillion-dollar investment, this expansion will equip residents and businesses with symmetrical speeds of up to 5 Gbps for homes and up to 10 Gbps for businesses. Construction is expected to begin this summer, with the first customers expected to gain service by fall.

Surf Internet surpasses 200K fiber passings across the Great Lakes Region
Surf Internet has completed its 200,000th fiber internet passing across Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. The milestone marks a doubling of the company’s reach since November 2023. It underscores Surf’s rapid expansion in delivering high-speed, reliable internet to communities throughout the Great Lakes region, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Surf recently introduced two new speed tiers—300 Mbps and 5 Gbps as part of its growth in select markets. But it’s not stopping there. The company plans to reach an additional 75,000 addresses across its growing footprint in the Great Lakes region by the end of 2025.

Wire 3 expands Volusia County, Florida presence
Wire 3 is expanding into the cities of Deltona and DeLand, further expanding its continued growth throughout Volusia County. Homes and businesses in both communities will soon have access to Wire 3’s high-speed connectivity through the company’s privately funded $60 million investment. With construction activities underway, Wire 3 expects the first Deltona and DeLand customers to receive service as early as winter 2025. Once connected, customers can access Wire 3’s speeds up to 10 Gbps. In addition to soon serving Deltona and DeLand, Wire 3 is actively deploying service in other Volusia communities, including Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Ormond Beach by the Sea, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater.

Ziply serves up 50G speeds for Riggins, Idaho
Ziply® Fiber’s fiber-based service is ready for service in Riggins, Idaho. The network, available today to the first 375 of the more than 1,100 addresses being built across the city, will offer speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 50 Gbps. Construction on the remaining homes and businesses will continue over the coming weeks.
