Since the completion of his PhD in Physics in 2008, Dr SungHoon Im has been working very closely with customers in the field of coherent optical communications as Director of Technical Sales at Coherent Solutions (formerly Southern Photonics). He leads a highly focused team at Coherent Solutions and has turned a niche R&D lab instrument maker into a globally recognized brand name in the field of optical test and measurement.
Currently, SungHoon manages a global sales network and facilitates product demonstrations and customer-specific measurement consultations. Understanding each customer’s specific requirements and providing the best solution possible is one of his key roles and strengths.
