EXFO’s FTB Lite 700 series of OTDRs (optical time domain reflectometers) offer seamless connectivity to EXFO’s Exchange cloud-based solution to perform analytics and extract insights for better informed decision-making and planning. The series spans short-range access networks (FTB Lite 720D) to long-haul fiber characterization (FTB Lite 750C) and offers 46 dB dynamic range, with models supporting PON, metro, and core network use cases. One of the key features is its always-on mobile connectivity, which enables real-time data sharing and job sync via embedded cellular. It also offers native access to EXFO Exchange for cloud-based job creation, automated validation, and centralized result management. An offline mode in red zones ensures results are stored and synchronized once connectivity is restored—ideal for rural, underground, or in-building testing.
