InSiGa’s ISG-D9648 200G/Lane Quad-Channel MZ Driver is suitable for Silicon Photonics-based solutions in LPO, 800G DR4, and 1.6T DR8 applications. As a 200G/Lane driver, the platform offers Automatic Gain Control to help keep the driver output constant even when the driver input varies. The driver supports rates up to 112 Gbauds, is designed to be DC-coupled to the modulator, and offers adaptable equalization up to 9dB. It also allows monitoring of the DC common-mode voltage between the driver and modulator to accurately set the modulator bias on the PIC. It provides heater control on a silicon PIC to set the modulator's quadrature bias point. Additionally, it provides control to adjust the CW laser current and enables the PIC to operate in automatic power Control (APC) mode, if needed, using the MPD current as input.
