Huawei: OptiX OSN 9800 P12

As a new addition to the OptiX OSN 9800 P series, the P12 offers multi-dimensional switching and optical direction scheduling capabilities to meet Full Mesh connectivity requirements at metro CO/sub-CO sites, building a flexible optical layer that enables end-to-end (E2E) all-optical one-hop transmission. Building upon the existing OXC solution capabilities, it also integrates AI-enhanced WSON functionality. Leveraging key modules and protocols, such as the FAST WSS module equipped with a beeswing liquid crystal LCoS and high-performance oDSP, services can achieve ultra-low-latency transmission while maintaining ultra-high security—automatically recovering within 50ms even after multiple fiber cuts in the network.
