Infraeo: 5 Meter 1.6T OSFP Active Electrical Cable

Infraeo is enabling next-generation copper interconnects across up to 5 meters for AI clusters with its E2-200 series high-performance 1.6Tbps OSFP Active Electrical Cable. Supporting 8 lanes of 212.5 Gbps PAM4 signaling in each direction, this full-duplex AEC achieves an aggregate data rate of 1.6Tbps — making it ideal for AI, HPC, and ultra-high-throughput switching environments. Built on a re-timer DSP architecture, the module ensures low-latency, low-jitter signal transmission with a pre-FEC BER better than 1E-8. Designed for seamless drop-in compatibility, it is fully compliant with OSFP MSA, CMIS 5.x, and IEEE 802.3dj standards, with hot-pluggable functionality and onboard MCU-accessible monitoring via a 2-wire I2C interface. Built for dense, high-EMI, and high-mechanical-stress environments, AEC features a ruggedized all-metal housing and an orange PET woven jacket. With breakout variants to 2x or 4x OSFP-RHS, this AEC enables optics for NIC connectivity.
