Teledyne LeCroy Xena Networks: Z1608 Edun Terabit Ethernet Traffic Generator
Teledyne LeCroy’s Z1608 Edun enables cable, transceiver, chip and switch manufacturers and data center operators to accelerate product development and validation of terabit Ethernet technologies. This allows users to validate performance across a wide range of Ethernet speeds (from 100GE to 1.6TE). This capability is crucial for meeting the growing bandwidth demands in AI, HPC, and cloud infrastructure. Supporting testing of both 112G and 224G PAM4 SerDes, it can also test optical transceivers and active and passive cables. Z1608 Edun can provide time-to-market for terabit-capable components like transceivers, cables, chips, switches, and NICs. The Z1608 is a quiet, compact tester, suitable for use on the desktop – a form factor important for lab-based development and QA environments. Requiring no new licenses to test Terabit Ethernet and making it easy for customers to integrate the new Z1608 Edun with their legacy Xena solutions – including automation and scripting features of Xena OpenAutomation (XOA), thereby reducing the overall cost of ownership.
