Driven by the growing demand for higher bandwidth coupled with new technologies such as AI and the Internet of Things (IoT), Grand View Research forecasts that the global data center interconnection (DCI) market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.6% from 2022 to 2030. The emphasis by the data center providers on latency, throughput, streamlined operations, intelligence, security, and maintenance is expected to drive the industry's growth.

During this webinar, we’ll discuss how various trends are shaping the future of data center interconnection:

  • An overview of what’s driving the next generation of connectivity technologies, what those technologies look like, and the various considerations data center operators will navigate going forward.
  • How the evolution of low-loss, multi-fiber Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) connector formats and emerging cabling designs facilitate high-speed deployment of pre-terminated solutions for inter and intra data center links.
  • The latest testing requirements for data center interconnect applications.
  • The latest developments in coherent pluggable optics (ZR/ZR+) and how their adoption changes the testing landscape for fiber characterization and Ethernet services testing.
