17 March 2003 -- At the CeBIT exhibition in Hanover, Germany last week Transmode Systems AB announced that, together with German system integrator Pan Dacom, it has sold its CWDM solution to TelemaxX.

TelemaxX is a German service provider founded in February 1999 as a subsidiary of city/public utilities of Baden-Baden, Bretten, Bruchsal, Ettlingen, Gaggenau, Karlsruhe, Rastatt and Stutensee which offers customer-oriented services to enterprise customers in and around the Karlsruhe technology region in Germany.

The services are based on a fibre network which guarantees high-performance connectivity also beyond the regional network. TelemaxX is currently building a new ring network with protected infrastructure to serve an enterprise customer, realised through the deployment of CWDM equipment from Transmode. Pan Dacom is acting as the system integrator and will provide support,
service and maintenance for the network.

"I am very glad to see our new relationship with Pan Dacom resulting in a customer win so quickly. TelemaxX is very representative for a customer segment that really can enjoy all the benefits of Transmode's flexible and cost-effective CWDM system", says Frank Segers, Transmode's VP of Channel Sales. "Germany is one of our key markets in Europe and we hope to continue to penetrate that market during 2003".
