MARCH 10, 2010 - Zayo Enterprise Networks, a fiber-based communications provider, is adding 100 miles of new fiber routes in Denver to interconnect high-bandwidth enterprises and provide dedicated access to IP services throughout the metro area.

To power this new network, Zayo Enterprise Networks will use packet optical and Carrier Ethernet solutions from BTI Systems to offer speeds of 1 GB and higher, creating one of the largest and most advanced metro-fiber networks within the region, reveals a company representative.
The need for simple, high-bandwidth connectivity is rapidly growing, and shared, switched Ethernet products can no longer meet the demanding requirements of large, distributed enterprises, continues the representative. Recognizing this need for a simple alternative to incumbent service provider offerings, Zayo Enterprise Networks and BTI Systems have come together to deliver a portfolio to address enterprise technical and business requirements over a low-latency, metro-fiber backbone.
These services will be delivered with the BTI 7000 Series packet optical platform, integrating both advanced wavelength and packet-oriented service delivery functionality, and the BTI 700 Series, for intelligent, Carrier Ethernet-based demarcation and aggregation of Ethernet and IP services, as service-delivery vehicles. Public-sector, enterprise and wholesale customers will have access to a set of services designed to keep costs down, expedite service provisioning, and simplify the network interconnection.
To hear more about this new Fiber-to-the-Enterprise portfolio, come speak directly with executives from Zayo Enterprise Networks and BTI Systems at the 4th Annual C-Level @ A Mile High event March 11, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Invesco Field hosted by the Colorado Technology Association.
