Nitel announces expanded SD-WAN portfolio

The enhancements will meet the needs of small to mid-sized enterprises.

Network-as-a-service (NaaS) provider Nitel announced on June 26 that it is accelerating the growth of its network management and security solutions by implementing SD-WAN with Fortinet technology. The company says this addresses its customers’ need for a solution that balances performance, security, and ease of use.

Nitel’s chief product officer, Mike Frane, said in a press release, “Nitel recognizes the diverse needs of today’s businesses, from startups to global enterprises. Our expanded SD-WAN portfolio ensures that regardless of size, industry, or demands, there’s a solution that fits every organization. Having recently bolstered our managed and professional services capabilities through our recent acquisition of WAN Dynamics, small to mid-sized enterprise customers stand to benefit from Fortinet’s industry-leading solutions delivered and managed by Nitel’s award-winning team.”

Nitel reports that its NaaS solutions offer advanced security and remote access services, customizable connectivity, and proactive network monitoring and management.
