3-GHz optical receiver

The Model 330A 3-GHz optical receiver can select a wavelength in the dwdm spectrum, perform an optical-to-electrical conversion, and amplify signals for input to high-level instruments such as a bit-error-rate tester. The tunable optical-filter section operates in the 1550-nm band. The filter can resolve wavelengths as close as 1 nm. The front panel control features allow direct wavelength entry, automatic spectrum search to detect and store peaks, and recall up to 99 previously stored wavelengths.
